La Anti-Racism Act 2017 requires that, beginning January 1, 2023, Ontario school boards conduct a census of student sociodemographic data in all of their schools. In order to respect this obligation, the collective of 12 French-language school boards in Ontario and the Consortium Center Jules-Léger (CCJL) conducted a census of socio-demographic data with the aim of obtaining relevant information that can be used to helping boards eliminate systemic racism and advance racial equity.

The socio-demographic data census has been conducted across the Conseil scolaire catholique des Grandes Rivières since the 2021-2022 school year. It targets parents of students in kindergarten to grade 8, students in grades 9 to 12, and the workforce.

We thank the students, parents and staff members who took the time to participate in this census.

The reports and supporting documents are available below:

Due to the low participation rate in the student census, analyses of the census's sociodemographic data to identify racial disproportions and disparities do not meet the desired level of reliability and cannot be published in accordance with Ontario's Standards for Data to Identify and Monitor Systemic Racism.
