Five-year Energy Conservation and Energy Management Plan 2018-2024
The Council's plan aims to reduce energy consumption through renewable energy and energy management strategies that include:
- Design and construction
- Operations and maintenance
- Occupant behavior
Our energy management strategy consists of:
- review and analyze our energy consumption using the Energy Consumption Database (BOGE);
- identify designs and constructions, operations and behaviors to correct in order to reduce our consumption;
- continue to include as many green elements as possible in our construction projects;
- improve or replace equipment that increases our energy consumption;
- educate the occupants of our buildings on the behavioral changes necessary to reduce our consumption.
