Use of school facilities

According to government guidelines, all schools in the province will be closed to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). School closures are in effect until further notice.

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Community Use of School Facilities is an initiative that promotes out-of-hours access to school premises to community non-profit groups. The Grandes Rivières District Catholic School Board established the policy No 6113 ‑ A (PDF not accessible) et Annex No 6113 ‑ A1 (PDF not accessible), which encompass initiatives, such as:

  • Increase community access to schools.
  • Provide better access to schools by community non-profit groups.
  • Reduce user fees for community non-profit groups.
  • Standardize user fees for all regions of the Council.

All requests must be submitted at least five working days before the date of the activity.

Accessibility of the premises

In order to comply with Ontario Regulation 429/7 respecting Accessibility Standards for Customer Service as well as the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005, Council is committed to facilitating access to services and its locations. As far as possible, the Conseil scolaire catholique de district des Grandes Rivières wants to make its schools accessible to people living with a disability. We ask you to advise us for any necessary accommodation.
