Use of school facilities
Community use of school facilities is an initiative that promotes access to school premises outside of school hours for non-profit community groups. The Conseil scolaire catholique des Grandes Rivières has established the Administrative directive INS-01: Community use of school premises, which encompass initiatives, such as:
- Increase community access to schools.
- Provide better access to schools by community non-profit groups.
- Reduce user fees for community non-profit groups.
- Standardize user fees for all regions of the Board.
Any request must be submitted at least ten (10) business days before the rental date for the activity.
Accessibility of the premises
In order to comply with Ontario Regulation 429/7 on Accessibility Standards for Customer Service and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005, the Board is committed to facilitating access to its services and premises. As much as possible, the Conseil scolaire catholique des Grandes Rivières wants to make its schools accessible to people with disabilities. We ask that you notify us of any necessary accommodations.
